It was written to help women, and young women, understand their individual worth, uncover their unique combination of talents and gifts, and inspire them to use those talents and gifts to bless the lives of those around them. Barbara is an amazing speaker and brings a beautiful spirit with her when she sings. She spoke to our Stake Young Women Camp at Heber Valley as a guest speaker to our group of 100 young women and leaders. Her subject was “Your Unique Mission” and she spoke to the young women about finding their purpose and how much Heavenly Father loves them. It was absolutely a highlight of our week and a memorable, beautiful fireside. Listening to Barbara sing, surrounded by the beauty of nature at Heber Valley will remain a favorite part of my week at camp and a memory that I will not forget.
What Barbara shared with us this evening, at our stake’s High Priest Activity, was absolutely beautiful, in every way that matters. There is nothing I desire more in this life, than to feel the influence of the Holy Ghost and the Spirit was strongly present. The type of lyrics that I heard tonight, and the melodies that accompanied them, were a conduit to light. Barbara stood as a powerful witness of the Lord Jesus Christ. Her testimony, in word, in song, and in spirit will be long remembered.

Barbara came to do a combined fireside for the Relief Society and Young Women. I was touched by how personal and kind she was to me and the women of my ward. She sincerely wanted to uplift and encourage each sister through her words and music, and was so kind to talk to everyone afterwards. Barbara shared personal experiences, a slideshow with quotes and scriptures that engaged and involved those in the audience, and performed her own music. Her message of encouragement, hope, and seeking to find our own unique gifts that have been given to us, inspired us all! It was the perfect message that I and the other women in my ward needed to hear in March of 2020! Many came up to me afterwards, thanking me for reaching out to Barbara.

Barbara visited our ward Relief Society and filled our souls with a deep, real (and REALLY needed) message of hope.
